I've been waiting to wear this outfit until I mustered the energy to don a pair of jeans (gain my pants perspective here). This energy would come from some chilly weather and a shorter day of work. Since I had the morning off, my friend Becca came over for "coffee talk" and later, became my photographer for this look. As we moved from the lighting in my bathroom to "oh wait, I think there's better light on the porch!" I couldn't help but laugh at how I try to take these photos for my outfits. We kept joking that each photo was "low budge" but better than the "selfies" I had been finagling all challenge long.
Today's look is the first look using my horse-shoe print chambray. I tucked it into these eggplant purple skinny jeans and added a thin oatmeal/nude colored belt.
Cue our low budget photos (my dog was two seconds away from photo-bombing this)...
The whole look was accentuated by this stunner of a statement necklace that has deep emerald, purple, and indigo stones. I cuffed both the shirt and the jeans to keep the vibe of the look relaxed.
Yes, I survived my half day in jeans AND I'm still not sold on pants. I will continue to ease into them and I fully intend to take a photography 101 crash course so I provide better photos for you, and capture the other meaningful moments in my life, for me. In the meantime... enjoy the low budge.
